Review Policy
Big Book Little Book (BBookLBook) is a UK based book blog staffed by four avid readers with diverse tastes. We write reviews from books of many different genres, age categories and formats.
Each week we aim to post reviews of a Big Book; Adult and Young Adult (YA), and a Little Book; Children’s including picture books, Early Reader and Middle Grade titles. In our Little Book section we also welcome contributions from our resident junior reviewers Daisy (12) and Izzy (10).
At Big Book Little Book we are happy to discuss blog content and accept review copies from traditional publishers and their authors. If you have a post idea or review copy you think we would be interested in please contact us at:

Big Book Little Book doesn’t accept any monetary compensation for the reviews it posts.
All reviews posted are the honest opinion of the reviewer.
Please note: Big Book Little Book is dedicated to the books we enjoy. While we do not guarantee a favourable review, we do not post reviews of books that we dislike or are unable to finish on this blog.
What we like:
We like to read: contemporary, historical and speculative fiction including; thrillers, romance, crime, action, adventure, mystery and chick-lit.
We like our literature in hardback, paperback, board book, picture books, e-books (kindle), graphic novels and audio books.
While the focus of the blog is fiction we are happy to consider reviewing creative non-fiction titles.
What we don’t like:
We do not review erotica.
We prefer not to read memoirs describing the abuse or neglect of children.
We prefer not to read a book series out of sequence.
We do not accept unpublished manuscripts.
How reviews are presented:
Each Big Book Little Book review contains cover artwork (where available), a synopsis of the book (taken from goodreads, Amazon or the book jacket) and a review.
In addition to publication on this blog, Big Book Little Book reviews are published on good reads and amazon.co.uk.
Book reviews are publicised and linked on the bbooklbook twitter account and the Big Book Little Book Facebook fan page.
Big Book Little Book reviews are unable to guarantee a publication date for an individual review however we endeavour to publish reviews of ARC’s in the month preceding publication or the two weeks following publication.
